Catawba Valley Community College's Red Hawk Esports team has garnered accolades with their remarkable achievements. With 25 NJCAAE All-Academic students and 60 NJCAAE playoff qualifiers, their dedication and skill have earned them recognition. They clinched the '23 NJCAAE CoD Warzone championship and emerged as '22 NJCAAE VALORANT runners-up, solidifying their position as a dominant force in esports.
Having established its program in 2019, Catawba Valley Red Hawk Esports has been at the forefront of shaping the esports landscape. Their pioneering spirit made them the first junior college in North Carolina to create an esports program, proving their dedication to fostering talent and excellence.
