Saint Louis, Missouri – Bye Blue Light is pleased to announce that they will be working with the State Government of Missouri to launch the annual Blue Light Awareness Day in October. This collaboration is a significant step towards raising awareness about the potential health risks associated with prolonged exposure to blue light, as well as advocating for the elimination of sales tax on relevant products for consumers across the state.
Last April, Bye Blue Light took a proactive stance by approaching legislators to draft legislation not only to foster public awareness but also to drive forward the initiative of eliminating sales tax on blue light protection products within the state of Missouri. This groundbreaking legislation serves as a catalyst for a series of impactful actions to be undertaken by the Bye Blue Light team.
The Bye Blue Light team is comprised of dedicated executive leaders, esteemed governing partners, and world-renowned doctors and ophthalmologists who are at the forefront of the fight against blue light-related eye strain and potential health issues. This collective expertise is the driving force behind the forthcoming Blue Light Awareness Day.
The primary goals of Blue Light Awareness Day include:
Educating the Public:
By raising awareness about the potential health risks associated with excessive blue light exposure, we aim to empower individuals to take proactive measures to protect their eyes and overall well-being.
Advocating for Tax Elimination:
We are committed to advocating for the elimination of sales tax on blue light protection products within the state of Missouri. This policy change will make it more affordable for consumers to access essential eye protection.
Promoting Eye Health:
With the support of our world-class doctors and ophthalmologists, we will provide valuable insights and recommendations for maintaining eye health in the digital age.
Bye Blue Light is proud to have the opportunity to collaborate with the State Government of Missouri on this important initiative. Together, we are working towards a future where the citizens of Missouri can enjoy the benefits of blue light protection without the burden of additional taxation.
Stay tuned for more updates as we draw closer to the inaugural Blue Light Awareness Day in October 2024. We invite all individuals, organizations, and communities in Missouri to join us in this collective effort to promote eye health and protect against the potential hazards of blue light.
